The application-related safety functions "Safe Torque Off" and "Safe Brake
Control" described below have been realized for personal protection in
accordance with ISO 13849-1, Category 4, PL e and IEC 62061, SIL3.
Before a safety function is selected, the drive system must be put
into the appropriate state by specifying the command value.
The safety functions can be divided into the following categories:
1. Safety functions in normal operation
2. Safety functions in special mode "Safe standstill"
3. Safety functions in special mode "Safe motion"
4. Additional or auxiliary functions
With IndraDrive Cs and the optional safety technology modules "L3" and
"L4", it is exclusively the "Safe standstill" group of safety technology functions
with the following safety technology functions which is supported:

Safe Torque Off (STO)
●
Safe Brake Control (SBC; only with optional safety technology module
"L4")
●
Safe stop 1 (Emergency stop) (only in conjunction with an external,
time-delayed safety selection device)
With IndraDrive Mi and the optional safety technology module "L3", it is
exclusively the "Safe standstill" group of safety technology functions with the
following safety technology functions which is supported:

Safe stop 1 (Emergency stop) (only in conjunction with an external,
time-delayed safety selection device)
With IndraDrive C and IndraDrive Mi and the optional safety technology
