    POWER COMMANDER V INPUT ACCESSORY GUIDE ACCESSORY INPUTS Map - The PCV has the ability to hold 2 different base maps. You can switch on the fly between these two base maps when you hook up a switch to the MAP inputs. You can use USB CONNECTION any open/close type switch. The polarity of the wires is not important. When using the Autotune kit one position will hold a base map and the other position will let you activate the learning mode. When the switch is “CLOSED” Autotune will be activated. (Set to Input 1 by default.) Shifter- These inputs are for use with the Dynojet quickshifter. Insert the wires from the Dynojet CRANK quickshifter into the SHIFTER inputs.   • Page 3 FIG.A Remove the seat and fuel tank. Removing the fuel tank is tricky since there is not a dry-break on the fuel line to the fuel pump. Either drain the fuel or have someone hold the fuel tank up while performing the install Lay the PCV in the battery area and route the harness up the right side of the Unplug frame following the stock wiring harness.
  • Page 4 FIG.D Locate the rear ignition coil behind the right hand side cover (Fig. D). Unbolt this coil so that the bottom wires can be accessed. Unplug the BLACK/WHITE and YELLOW/BLUE wires from the coil. BLK/WHT YEL/BLU FIG.E 10 Plug the set of RED colored wires of the PCV in-line with the BLACK/WHITE coil wire and the coil. 11 Plug the set of BLUE colored wires of the PCV in-line with the YELLOW/BLUE coil wire and the coil. 12 Bolt the rear coil back to its mounting bracket. FIG.F 13 Locate and unplug the Crank Position Sensor connectors on the right hand side of the bike, up by the steering stem (Fig. F). This is the set of RED, 2-pin connectors.   • Page 5 FIG.G 14 Plug the set of RED, 2-pin connectors of the PCV wiring harness in-line with the bike’s Crank Position Sensor connectors (Fig. G). FIG.H 15 Locate the front ignition coil on the left hand side of the bike above the front cylinder head (Fig. H). BLU/YEL 16 Unplug the BLUE/YELLOW wire from the coil.
