10.3 Filter change

Do not open the filter with system running
Filter
1. Screw off the filter bowl.
2. Remove the filter element from the spigot by rotating it slightly.
3. Clean the filter components, if necessary.
4. Check the seals at the filter bowl for damage and renew them, if necessary. For
suitable seal kits refer to chapter "Spare parts".
5. Install the new filter element on the spigot again by slightly rotating it.
6. The filter is to be assembled in reverse order.
7. The torque 50-60 Nm is to be observed.
8. Commission the system.
When removing a filter element take some time to inspect and look for unusual
contamination within the pleats. Contact your Bosch Rexroth representative for
advice.
10.4 Inspection of hydraulic fluid

▶
Store up used hydraulic fluid and contamined filter elements for destruction.
Different hydraulic fluids are affected differently - consult the manufacturer.
