3. Ceiling Fan Assembly (continued) LOWER LIGHT FIXTURE Remove one #8 - 32 x 5/16” pan head screw from the #8 - 32 x 5/16" PAN lower light fixture (reserve for later use). Loosen the LOWER LIGHT HEAD SCREW (3) COVER other three screws to assemble the lower light cover to the fixture (Figure 6).

3. Ceiling Fan Assembly (continued) 3.11 Loosen setscrews in motor coupling to permit the downrod to be installed. Separate, untwist and unkink the three 80” motor leads. Route the motor lead wires through the downrod. Align the clevis pin holes in the downrod with the holes in the motor coupling.

3. Ceiling Fan Assembly (continued) 3.15 Reinstall the hanger ball (Figure 12) on the downrod as HANGER BALL follows. Route the motor leads through the downrod. DOWNROD Position the pin through the two holes in the downrod and align the ball so the pin is captured in the groove in the top of the hanger ball.
