Depending on the gearbox model and the scope of supply, the planetary gearbox is
provided with optional equipment such as a disconnect mechanism (deactivation).
Using the disconnect mechanism, the planetary gearbox can be disengaged
mechanically from the axial-piston motor e.g. in order to tow the vehicle in case of a
hydraulic system failure.
If the planetary gearbox is equipped with a disconnect mechanism (deactivation),
refer to the following documents which are included in the material number-specific
operating instructions:
• Chapter "Scope of supply"
• Appendix D "Technical data / Drawings"
• Appendix F "Optional equipment variant" operating instructions "HYDROTRAC
GFT >130 kNm Disconnect mechanism (RE 79098)"

oiL CooLinG (iF inCLUDeD in tHe SCope oF SUppLy)
If the planetary gearbox is equipped with connections for a circulating oil
lubrication, refer to the dimensioned drawing of the planetary gearbox in appendix
D "Technical data/drawings" of the material number-specific operating instructions
for information on the permissible operating conditions. The machine or vehicle
manufacturer must ensure that these are complied with.
For information on connecting the circulating oil lubrication or oil cooling, refer to
the following chapters of the material number-specific operating instructions:
• Chapter "Product description"
• Chapter G "Supplementary connections"

CoMpLetinG tHe ASSeMBLy
f Remove all means of attachment such as eye bolts, straps, swivel hooks, shackles
or devices which are still attached.
f Once again check all connecting parts for proper fit and tightness.
All connections used for connecting lines are sealed with plugs or screw plugs
during transport. These plastic plugs are not pressure-resistant.
f Seal the unused connections with metallic, pressure-resistant screw plugs.
