2. Checking after reassembly
(1) Check that the Lock Off Button <4> can be operated normally. Check that the trimmer does not operate
just by pulling the Trigger <6>.
(2) Push the Button <34> and check that Housing (R) <43> and Housing (L) <41> can be turned 180° and
locked correctly.
(3) Check the handle portion (Pipe Ass'y <22>) can be smoothly extended and retracted, and firmly
locked.
• Tapping Screw ST3 x 6 [30]<32> ----------------------------------------------- 0.4 to 0.6 N
• Tapping Screw ST4 [4][10]<1><11> ------------------------------------------- 1.1 to 1.3 N
• M5 Nut [44]<52> -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.0 to 3.0 N
Upon completing disassembly and repair, measure the insulation resistance and conduct an insulation test
(dielectric strength test).

After no-load operation for five minutes, the no-load current value at a frequency of 50 Hz should be as
follows:
Model CG 25SC: 2.2 A (max.)
Model CG 30SC: 2.3 A (max.)
