5. Click Save to push the changes to all attached receivers.
Events tab
The Events tab is where event logging is configured. Events can be manually downloaded to a file
or automatically sent to a syslog server for longer term storage.
Individual events can be enabled or disabled by manipulating the Disabled Events and Enabled
Events lists. Simply click on one or more events and click the buttons to move them from one list to
the other.
The table below lists the options and descriptions for the Events tab.

Option
Description
Syslog Server IP
The IP address of a syslog server that event log messages should be sent to

when they are generated.
Log Error Events
Controls whether Errors are recorded to the event log.
Log Warning
Controls whether warnings are recorded to the event log.

Log Informational
Controls whether informational messages are recorded to the event log.

NOTE: Logged events are stored in volatile memory on the switch. If power is lost or the switch is reset then
the list of events is cleared.
Defaults
The Defaults tab is where the OSD and receiver session time-outs are set as well as the transmitter
USB Mode and traffic priorities are configured. These defaults apply when a new receiver or
transmitter is added to the system.

Description
The time-out, in minutes,
after which the OSD display
disappears.
