Start program
touch the aStart/Refill button on
and hold it for approx. 1-
2 seconds, then release the button. The
program starts and the appliance door is
locked.
The Ready in time is shown on the display
panel and counts down until the program
starts. After the program has started, the
program duration is displayed. And the
symbols for the progress of the program
are lit.
Child lock
You can lock the device to prevent
accidental changes to the settings you
have made. To do this, activate it
child lock.
To activate the child lock:
After the program starts, the buttons
(SpeedPerfect and ñ Ready in/
Drying time touch and hold for 3
seconds. ItE
symbol lights up on the

play panel.
E lights up: the childproof lock is

activated.
E flashes: when the programs and
■
program settings are set while the
child lock is activated.
Note:
When the program ends, "Ÿš (End)
displayed. The door is unlocked.
E stays on to remind you to deactivate
the child lock.
To deactivate the child lock: Touch the
buttons (SpeedPerfect and
ñ Ready in/Dry time on and keep them
until the symbol E disappears.
Operation of the device
Add/Remove from
laundry
After starting the program (which only
performs washing), you can add or
remove laundry if necessary.
touch the aStart/Refill button
on. The appliance checks whether
laundry can be refilled.
When the following appears on
the display panel:
The symbol O disappears, refilling is

possible.
The symbol O lights up, refilling
■
is not possible.
To resume the program, you must a
Start/Refill button
touch. The program continues
automatically.
Clues
Do not leave the door open for too
■
long when adding laundry, otherwise
water from the laundry may leak out of
the appliance.
For safety reasons, the door remains
■
locked when the water level or
temperature is too high or
when the drum rotates and it is not
possible to add laundry at that time.
Changing the program
If you accidentally started the wrong
program, you can change the
program as follows:
1.
touch the aStart/Refill button
On.
2.
Choose another program.
3.
And touch the aStart/Refill button
on again. The new program starts
from the beginning.
Note:
When drying is activated, you can
change the program directly with the
program selector.
