Harvesting plants

You can start harvesting your plants or
fruit when they are big enough.

Setting sleep mode
The device automatically goes into sleep
mode after 16 hours of activity and wakes
up again after 8 hours.

Touch the touch button for 3 seconds
until the light unit flashes twice.

a The device starts the 8-hour sleep mode.
a The start time for sleep mode is saved
and is retained until it is changed again.
Note: Sleep mode should begin in the
evening so as to give your plants time to
rest in the dark. This also means you won't
be disturbed by the bright light, e.g. in the
bedroom.
Starting standard mode manu-
ally
The device automatically goes into stand-
ard mode after 8 hours of sleep mode.

until the light unit flashes twice.

Dimming or switching off the
lighting temporarily
To dim the lighting, touch the touch but-

touch button briefly again.
Notes
¡ The lighting will automatically switch on
again once the next sleep mode phase
comes to an end.
¡ Repeatedly dimming or switching off the
lighting on a daily basis may adversely
affect growth of the plants.
Starting holiday mode
Requirements
¡ At least one height module has been in-
serted.
¡ The nutrient solution is filled up to the
marking
.

Touch the touch button for 10 seconds
until the light unit lights up pink.

Descaling the appliance
Notes
¡ Descale the appliance whenever you
have harvested your plants in their en-
tirety (after approx. 3-5 months).
¡ You can descale the device either using
lemon juice or specially developed de-
scaling tablets.
Requirements
¡ There are no plant capsules in the plant
tray.
¡ The device is fully assembled, a height
module is inserted and the light unit fit-
ted.
