3) Remove the upper clamps
4) Install both throttle cables into the junc-
tion unit. When doing this, pull slightly
on the cables and note the location of
the holder slots to the grooves in the
cables.
If required, readjust the brass cable
ends until both cables align the same.
CAUTION:
Confirm that the positioning mark on the
rack coincides with the positioning mark on
the base. If there is an offset make an
adjustment by changing the position of the
cable end piece or the clamp.
Make sure that the cable is pulled tightly
during adjustment. Remember that the
cable end piece should be screwed in at
least 8mm.
Install the clamp so that the side of the
clamp identified by the arrow mark directs
the center of the junction unit.
5) Securing the cables.
1 Pass the cable through the opening
in the rack.
2 Fit the cable end groove in the rack
groove.
3 Position the rod clamp in place.
4 Pull the cable with force and place
the C hub in the clamp.
5 Position the upper clamps.
6) Replace the cover and the clamp cover.
NOTE:
To install the clamp cover, press it with force
from above.
CAUTION:
After installation, confirm that the clamp
cover is firmly fitted in place.
Insure the rod nuts are properly tightened
against brass barrel cable ends to prevent
them from working loose and turning.
