The Onboard LAN does not support the auto failback function for NIC
teaming configurations with only Onboard LAN ports.
Restrictions on use of Emulex 10Gb NIC
When the following Emulex 10Gb NICs are used, there are limitations on the
supported LPAR manager firmware versions depending on the firmware
versions of these NICs:

Onboard LAN
•
Emulex 10Gb 4-port LAN mezzanine card
•
Emulex 10Gb 4-port converged network mezzanine card
