warning Note: Do not operate the appliance when empty. This appliance is intended for processing small quantities of food. It is not intended to prepare large quantities of food at one time. This product has a pulse action feature. Avoid running the motor for more than 1 minute continuously.

Do NOT place chopper bowl or lid in a microwave oven. They are not microwave-safe.

ASSEMBLING THE CHOPPER

To assemble, press the slip-resistant base/lid onto the bottom of the bowl. This slip-resistant base MUST be in place before operating the chopper (A).

CHOPPING/MINCING

You may store extra chopped/minced food directly in the bowl. Just pull the slip-resistant base off the bottom of the bowl, flip it over, and press it onto the top of the bowl to serve as a storage lid (B).

Place in the refrigerator.

CHOPPING GUIDE

FOOD	PREPARATION TIPS
Bread	Use up to 3 slices at a time. Break each slice into quarters. Makes about 1½ cups (360 ml).
Carrots/Celery	Cut into ¾" (1.91 cm) lengths. Use up to 2 cups (480 ml) carrots or 3 cups (720 ml) celery at a time.
Chocolate Chips	Use up to ½ cup (120 ml) chips at a time. Process on HIGH for 30 – 50 seconds for fine chopped results.
Eggs — Hard-cooked	Peel; cut into quarters. Use up to 4 eggs at a time.
Garlic/Ginger	Peel; cut ginger into ¾" (1.91 cm) squares. Chop as little as 1 clove/square, or as much as 1 head garlic or 1 cup (240 ml) ginger cubes at a time.
Graham Crackers	Add up to 7 rectangles at a time, broken into quarters. Pulse to crumb. (Makes 1 cup / 240 ml )
Mushrooms	Quarter for best results. Use up to ¾ cup (180 ml) at a time. Pulse to desired texture.
Nuts, Soft	Add up to 3 cups (720 ml) at a time; less for more
(pecans, walnuts)	coarse texture.
Onions/Green Onions	Peel up to 2 medium diameter) or 3 small (1½"/3.80 cm diameter) onions. Cut each into 6 pieces. For green onions, cut into 1" (2.5 cm) lengths. Use up to 1 cup (240 ml) at a time.
Parsley/Herbs	Wash; dry thoroughly. Add up to 3 cups (720 ml); process about 25 seconds for fine results.
Peppers	Remove seeds. Cut into ½" (1.27 cm) pieces. Add up to 1 cup (240 ml). Peppers process quickly.
