3. Check the vertical alignment of the voltage transformer with a spirit level and, if required,
readjust with the hexagon head bolts on the transformer slide:
– Undo the outer hexagon head bolts
– Adjust the central hexagon head bolt
– Re-tighten the outer hexagon head bolts

Installing further voltage transformers
1. Install the left-hand voltage transformer in the same way.
2. Install the central voltage transformer in the same way.
Final work
1. Insert the low-voltage connectors into the voltage transformers according to the phase
designation.
2. Hook the cable compartment cover in [▶ Page 125, "Removing and mounting the cable
compartment cover"].
If a power-frequency voltage test is performed before commissioning [▶ Page 131, "Preparing
the power-frequency voltage test"], the voltage transformers must be removed.
Precondition: The panels must be accessible from the rear or from above.
Damaged metal coating of voltage transformers
The metal coating on the outside of voltage transformers is connected to earth potential.
Touching a damaged metal coating can lead to a life-endangering electric shock.
⇨ Do not damage the metal coating of voltage transformers.
⇨ Do not mount voltage transformers with damaged metal coating. Contact the Siemens
Service Hotline.
High voltage on the primary side of the voltage transformer
Voltage on the secondary side of the voltage transformer leads to high voltage on the
primary side of the voltage transformer. Touching live parts can lead to a life-endangering
electric shock.
⇨ Separate the secondary leads of the voltage transformers from any voltage sources
before executing the installation work.
