Wind Vector – Wind information is displayed in the lower left of the
HSI. The wind is displayed in
for cross–side data. Wind direction relative to the aircraft is
displayed as an arrow. Wind speed is displayed as a digital readout,
with a range of 1 to 255 knots.
The wind display is removed from the PFD when wind data is invalid,
heading is invalid, or wind speed is zero.

FMS LNAV Annunciators – The FMS LNAV annunciators are
displayed to the upper left of the HSI. They are displayed in
magenta
if the on–side primary LRN navigation source is selected.
They are displayed in

— HDGSEL (selected heading)

Course Select/Desired Track Pointer – The course pointer rotates
around the center of the arc heading display. With a short range NAV
selected, the course pointer is positioned by rotating the course
knob on the remote instrument controller. When the FMS is
selected, the desired track data is generated by the FMS and it is
sent to the IAC.
