5.4 Adjustment

5.4.1 Initial Operation

This section explains the initial operation required before the adjustment. Unlike
EPSON previous models, the various settings will not be cleared by initialization for
PhotoPC 3100Z. Initialization only clears the memory (image storage field).
C A U T I O N
Perform initialization before uploading the firmware. If you upload
the firmware when the memory is full of data (taken images), error
may be indicated.

Complete set-up before the adjustment. (See 5.3 Preparation for Adjustment.)

Press the initialize button on the program. The confirmation screen will appear.

Select "Y" and perform initialization.

seconds. (This period may vary according to the image data size currently stored.
The timing that the

that the program indicates its completion. When the program indicates it is
completed, you can take off AC cable and USB communication cable.)

Click OK on the screen.
