You need a HART communicator to make any adjustments in a ST 3000 with the HART communications option.     For differential pressure transmitters measuring the pressure drop across a primary element, the flow rate is directly proportional to the square root of the differential or pressure drop. The ST 3000 transmitter’s output is automatically converted to equal percent of flow when its output conformity is configured as square root.

    Resetting Calibration Background Every ST 3000 transmitter is factory-characterized. The characterization process calculates a mathematical model of the performance of the transmitter’s sensors and stores that data in the transmitter’s memory.
