Password Changing Screen
This screen is used to create passwords that control operator access to the touchscreen
commands.
Level 1 passwords restrict access to the following screens:
Settings
Sequence
Teach
Level 2 passwords restrict access to the Configuration. Maintain and Diagnostic screens.
In order to use a Level 1 password a Level 2 password must be set.
Level 3 passwords restrict access to the following screens:
Quality limits key pads
Weld setting key pads
A Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 password which is set to "0" turns password protection off.
The factory settings for the controller are "0" for Level 1, 3 and "2677" for Level 2.
To change a password the user must first enter the current password. If password
protection is off, enter "0" as the current password. A new password may then be entered.
A password may be up to 4 numbers Max.
Press one of the following options for this screen:
LEVEL 1
To change the Level 1 password setting.
LEVEL 2
To change the Level 2 password setting.
LEVEL 3
To change the Level 3 password setting.
RESET
To return to System Configuration.
