16 Troubleshooting

You can resolve minor faults with the device yourself. Before contacting customer
service, please refer to the troubleshooting information. This way you avoid
unnecessary costs.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! Improper repairs
are dangerous.
Only trained specialist personnel may carry out repairs on the device.
Only original spare parts may be used to repair the device.
If the power cord of this appliance becomes damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid
hazards.
Malfunction
"Hot" and drum

Humming sound.
The display is extinguished

Cause and troubleshooting
Cooling process active.
No malfunction.

Do not change the program during the cooling process.

Remark:The cooling process takes up to 10 minutes.
You can continue to operate the device.
Compressor active.
No error - normal operating noise.
The energy saving mode is active.
Press any button. aThe display
lights up again.
Fluff filter is contaminated.

The mains plug of the power cable is not plugged in.
Connect the device to the electricity grid.
The fuse in the fuse box has blown.
Check the fuse in the meter cupboard.

Check whether the interior lighting or other
appliances are functioning.
