8.15 USB MEMORY
The following table shows the error messages and descriptions which may be displayed while a USB
memory is used.
After the error message is displayed, the operation is not retried.
Message
FORMAT ERROR
Check the settings.
MEMORY WRITE ERR.
Check the data
and the settings.
MEMORY READ ERR.
Check the data
and the settings.
MEMORY FULL
Free some space.
FILE NOT FOUND
Check the data
and the settings.
UNKNOWN ERROR
Note:
Depending on the remaining memory size or the USB memory status, a write error may occur even
when the USB memory is under the insufficient free space condition.
Usable USB memory's file system is as follows:
File system
FAT (FAT16)
FAT32
To use other file system in a USB memory, they need to be formatted to either of the following on the PC in
advance.
