Checking the Operation of
the Interlock Switches
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
CAUTION
If the safety interlock switches are
disconnected or damaged, the machine could
operate unexpectedly, causing personal
injury.
• Do not tamper with the interlock switches.
• Check the operation of the interlock
switches daily and replace any damaged
switches before operating the machine.
Checking the
Operator-Presence-Control (OPC)
Interlock Switch
1.
Push the kickstand down with your foot and pull
up on the handle support until the kickstand has
rotated forward, over center.
2.
Start the engine.
3.
With the OPC released, attempt to engage
the traction lever

engages, the interlock system needs service.
Correct the problem before operating the
