SONY Slot-In Bundle QUICK SETUP GUIDE Initial Setup of Slot-In When powered on for the first time, or after a factory reset, the DWR-S03D will be set to output in analog mode. When using the DWR-S03D with an SL-2, this has to be switched to digital. When on the ‘Main’ display, as per below diagram (findable using ‘Menu Select’), press Minus (-) until Audio Output is displayed. -

SONY Slot-In Bundle QUICK SETUP GUIDE Pairing Txs to Rx Using Crossremote, you can control many of the parameters within a Tx from the Rx top panel or within a Sound Devices 8-series mixer. This link is across a separate 2.4gHz network generated by the Rx and a data pairing has to be established. -

SONY Slot-In Bundle QUICK SETUP GUIDE Controlling Tx manually If your Tx is out of range of Crossremote, you can change parameters manually. Power on the Tx whilst holding down the ‘Set’ button. This puts the unit into a ‘soft start’ mode where it does not transmit, this can be seen by the lack of antenna logo on the display. -

Powering on the receiver and holding Plus (+) shortcuts the Rx to complete a clear channel scan of the frequency block it was last in. It will then display Key Features: optimum frequencies, with the lowest detected RF noise.
