Manual address allocation via reader keypad, stand alone

Enter the address via the keypad (1 or 2 digit) and confirm with
The address can be overwritten as long as the operating voltage is not interrupted and the reader has
not been linked by the controller.

TTENTION A plausibility check is not possible
The address is stored in the reader.
If the reader is later connected with the EU/control panel, the entered address is then sent to the
EU/control panel together with the reader serial number and stored there.
The address can now be confirmed in the display mode (see chapter "Address indication")

Clear address(es)

Ways to clear addresses:
1.) Via IQ DeviceInstaller and configuration tool usb (see 4.2)
2.) In "stand alone" mode:
- In addition, press and hold the buttons "1" and "7" and "X" at the same time.
- Apply operating voltage, then release buttons. The address is now deleted.
7.2

Automatic adjustment of transmission range

The range adjustment allows the maximum reading range to be achieved, including with a metal
mounting surface.
The adjustment takes place automatically after applying the operating voltage. During this time, no
data carrier may be in the reading field.
7.3

Keypad lighting

Delivery state: Low brightness for the sleep mode (no operating procedure) for button location at
night.
A change is possible via IQ DeviceInstaller and the configuration tool usb, see chapter 4.2.
7.4

Lighting ring

Delivery state: Pale blue, low brightness, function as background, see chapter 4.2.
Change function, colour and brightness with IQ DeviceInstaller and the configuration tool usb.
Note there is a power input of approx.110 mA for white and max. brightness.
If you wish to use the lighting ring as an optical acknowledgement signal, you should avoid
the colours red and green for the sleep mode.
