How to use this product
Please check the voltage rating and form of the electrical outlet before use.
◦Using the key head, etc., turn the voltage selector switch until it locks
into place.
◦Do not use a power supply voltage of 200-240 V with the voltage
selector switch still set to [100-120 V].
When used with the voltage selector switch set wrongly
If a power supply voltage of 200-240 V is used with the voltage selector switch set
to [100-120 V]
A malfunction may result. The heater will overheat and the safeguard will trigger,
causing cool air to be flow. Please turn the main switch [OFF], and use with the
voltage selector switch set to [200-240 V].
If a power supply voltage of 100-120 V is used with the voltage selector switch set
to [200-240 V]
The airflow will not be sufficient for drying or setting. Please turn the main switch
[OFF], and use with the voltage selector switch set to [100-120 V].
◦Select the plug adaptor that matches the form of the household outlet, and plug it
into the household outlet.
◦Use a towel to partially dry your hair, and then brush or comb your fingers to
remove tangles.
1. Select airflow strength using the main switch.
2. Direct warm air throughout your hair.
• Your hair will dry quickly if you direct the warm air towards the roots.
• You can increase the drying rate with the quick-dry nozzle by using the vertical
strong and weak airflows to dry and loosen bundles of damp hair.
3. Turn the main switch [OFF].
4. Remove the plug from the household outlet.
• When drying is complete, finish with a brush or your fingers.
• After the hair dryer has cooled down sufficiently, keep it in a place with low humidity.
◦Since nanoe™ is generated, you might encounter the following.
Water droplets may be blown out of the nanoe™ outlet during use.
You may hear a noise from the nanoe™ outlet.
You may notice a characteristic smell during use.
Maintenance of the hair dryer
◦Sparks may be seen from the interior when using hot air. These sparks are caused
by the thermostat switch, the protective device, and this is not dangerous. Clean
the air inlet and air outlet.
◦Always turn the main switch [OFF] and disconnect the plug from the household
outlet. (Except when performing maintenance on the air outlet)
Wipe dust and hair from the air inlet with a tissue. (At least once a month)
With the main switch set to [COLD], blow away dust and hair jammed in the mesh of
the air outlet by scraping it with a brush.
Moisten the tip of a cotton swab with water, and gently insert the swab in the nanoe™
outlet until it stops (about 10 mm), and then turn the cotton swab 2-3 times carefully.
(Do this about once a month)
To clean the hair dryer (when it is dirty), soak a cloth in the soapy water and squeeze
it out firmly, then wipe with the cloth.
