Channel Functions

To define a channel function, you must first select the channel number. The channel must
have been previously defined in System Configuration.
Select
This function will "Select" the appropriate channel for transmission when a transmit key is
pressed. The received audio from the selected channel will be heard on the "Select"
speaker. All other received audio will be routed to the "Unselect" speaker. All channels
must have one and only one "Select" key assigned.
Answer/Hold
This key requires telephone control and thus is only available for channels 13 and 14. The
key is used to answer a telephone call. Once a call is answered (telephone is off-hook), this
key toggles the hold function.
Frequency Select
This key is only applicable with a tone or DC controlled radio with multiple frequency
capability. By selecting this key, the desired frequency command will be sent. The current
or tone will be sent to the radio in order to select the desired frequency.
Please note that "no current" is different from 0.0 ma. Selecting "0.0 ma" will cause zero
milliamperes of DC control current to be sent when this command is executed. Selecting
"No current" will cause the previous control current for that function to be maintained
with no current change.
After selecting the receive current/tone, you must also specify a current or tone to activate
the transmitter for the desired frequency.
Frequency Select with Voting
This key is identical to the frequency select function with the added feature of selecting an
auxiliary input. This allows the output of a voter to indicate which frequency was voted.
The red LED will be illuminated for the frequency that voted.
The input must have been previously defined before using this key.
