FYI
The RSWho screen is actually RSLinx's network browser interface, which allows you to
view all of your active network connections.
The left pane of this display is the Tree Control, which shows networks and devices in a
hierarchical view. When a network or device is collapsed, as indicated by the + sign,
you can click on the + sign or double click on the network or device icon to expand the
view and begin browsing. When a network or device is expanded, as indicated by the -
sign, you can click on the - sign or double click on the network or device icon to collapse
the view.
The right pane of the RSWho display is the List Control, which is a graphical
representation of all of the devices present on the network.
Tip
If there is a communication status error with a device (e.g., when a recognized device is
inadvertently unplugged), that device appears with a red X, indicating that RSWho
previously recognized it, but now it can not. You can choose to remove the device from
the RSWho display, or to correct the communication error.

Adding the RS232-DF1 Driver

Add the RS-232 so that you can communicate with the controller.
1. From the Communications menu, choose Configure Drivers.
