FAIL-SAFE TABLE

When any of the following DTCs is detected, ECM (PCM) enters fail-safe mode as long as malfunction continues
to exist but that mode is canceled when ECM detects normal condition after that.

NOTE:
For (
) marked No. in DTC column, it is indicated when generic scan tool is used.
FAIL SAFE OPERATION
Each control is performed based on 150 MPa (1500 bar) fuel
pressure.
Each control is performed based on 7 volts.
Each control is performed based on 5% throttle valve opening.
Each control is performed based on 111_C with engine run (–10_C
with engine stopped).
Each control is performed based on 90_C.
Each control is performed based on 50_C.
Each control is performed based on the value measured by
barometric pressure sensor (in ECM). If barometric pressure sensor
fails, 900 mbar is used as intake air pressure.
Each control is performed based on the value measured by intake air
pressure sensor. If intake air pressure sensor is failed, 900 mbar is
used as barometric pressure.
Each control uses the value calculated by barometric pressure and
engine speed.
Each control is performed based on 1000 mg/stroke.
Each control is performed based on 20 km/h.
