In this case, Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch 4008 EE/4018 EE phone Extended Edition sets are linked to a proxy acting as a PCX and operate as SIP sets.

    Examples 1: user name parameter In the file sipconfig.txt the parameter user name is set to Alcatel-Lucent. As a result, all sets of the system have the same name: Alcatel-Lucent. For the set with MAC address 00:80:9F:56:07:AE, the file sipconfig-00809F5607AE.txt exists and contains the parameter user name = Smith.
