    Installation Instructions before it is used. Do not allow children to climb, stand or hang on the shelves in the refrigerator. They could damage the refrigerator and seriously injure themselves. Do not touch the cold surfaces in the freezer compartment when hands are damp or wet.

    Child entrapment and suffocation are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned refrigerators are still dangerous…even if they will sit for “just a few days.” If you are getting rid of your old refrigerator, please follow the instructions below to help prevent accidents.

    3-prong wall outlet. The refrigerator should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches the rating plate.

    About the controls on the refrigerator. The temperature controls on your refrigerator have letters and numbers. Initially set the refrigerator control at 5 and the freezer control at C. If you want colder or warmer temperatures, adjust the refrigerator temperature first. When satisfied with that setting, adjust the freezer temperature.

    About the refrigerator shelves and bins. Not all features are on all models. Rearranging the Shelves Shelves in the refrigerator compartment are adjustable. To Remove Refrigerator Door Shelf The bottom door shelf in the refrigerator compartment is removable for easy cleaning.

Water Supply to the Icemaker If the refrigerator has an icemaker, it will have to be connected to a cold water line. Refrigerator Location Do not install the refrigerator where the temperature will go below 60°F (16°C)

    Removing the doors. The doors may need to be removed to move the unit through tight spaces. You may also want to reverse the door swing for easier access to the refrigerator. Reversing the door swing. Read these instructions completely and carefully.
  • Page 13 Before Removing the Doors Unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet. Empty all door shelves, including the dairy compartment. Remove the Refrigerator Door Remove the top hinge cover (lift up on the outside edge and pull off). Tape the door shut with masking tape at both upper corners.
  • Page 14 Transferring the Door Stops On the refrigerator door, move the metal door stop from the right end to the left end. Move any screws from the left end to the right end.
  • Page 15 Rehanging the Refrigerator Door Lower the bottom socket of the refrigerator door onto the center hinge pin. Tilt the door towards the cabinet, lifting the top hinge so the pin fits into the socket on the top of the door.

    Removal of freezer drawer. The freezer drawer can be removed, if needed, to fit through tight areas. Read these instructions completely and carefully. To Remove the Freezer Drawer To remove the baskets: Open the freezer drawer all the way. Empty the freezer completely.
  • Page 17 To Replace the Freezer Drawer IMPORTANT: Two people may be required to complete this procedure. Pull out both interior rail assemblies to full length on each side of cabinet. Locate notches in both interior rail extensions. Align tabs on outside edge of drawer rail assemblies with notches in both rail extensions.
