The standard exterior grille is made of durable aluminum to protect chassis components and minimize air recirculation. Using the RAK7012 will allow the existing duct extension to be used without requiring the relocation of the hole through the wall to the adjacent room. Discharge grille, end plate and extension mounting hardware must be removed from old duct adapter and installed on the RAK7012.

For more positive control of condensate water, the RAD4A1 drain kit routes condensate to the exterior or to the interior of the building through the wall case. Suitable provision (field applied) should be made to connect the drain tube to a drain system in the building. Drain tube assembly is 1/2" O.D. copper.
