Method 3: Connecting to an AV
amplifier with a digital output jack
If your AV amplifier only has a Dolby Digital, MPEG-2
or DTS decoder and a digital input jack, use this
connection. To enjoy Dolby Digital, MPEG-2 or DTS
sound, you will set up the audio settings. (See page
31)
Step 5: Connecting to
AV3, AV4, DV input jack
This allows you to connect your DVD Recorder to other
external devices and view or record their outputs.
• Method 1: Connecting a VCR, Set-Top Box (STB) or
DVD player to the AV3 Input jacks
• Method 2: Connecting a Camcorder to the AV4 Input
jacks
• Method 3: Connecting a Camcorder to the DV IN jack
