Installing Your Internal Drive Before You Start Before You Start Check the Contents of the Box Unpack the box containing the drive and identify the following items: DLTtapeIV™ HP SureStore DLT™ drive cartridge Cleaning cartridge Compaq rails User’s Guide with screws (Please discard unused languages in recycling bin) - Page 8 A properly installed and configured SCSI host adapter (SCSI-2 or SCSI-3 compliant) For optimal performance, Hewlett-Packard recommends that your DLT drive is placed on a dedicated SCSI bus.
