    Wireless Notebook Adapter CPWNA001 Thank you for purchasing the Philips Wireless Notebook Adapter.This Wireless Notebook Adapter is a WiFi (IEEE 802.11b) compatible CardBus card. It fully supports high data rates up to 11 Mbps with automatic fallback to 5.5 Mbps, 2 Mbps and 1 Mbps for secure operation at lower data rates in even the most difficult of wireless environments.

    You only need to install the Wireless Base Station Client Tool if you want to use the Wireless Notebook Adapter for configuring a Philips Wireless Base Station.You do not need it if you just want to install or connect to a wireless network.

    SSID – Input an SSID (wireless network name) for the wireless network to which you want to connect. Alternatively, use the Site Survey menu item to choose from the list of available SSIDs. (Default SSID: Philips.) Channel – If you are setting up an Ad Hoc wireless network, set the channel number to the same radio channel as that used by the other wireless devices in your group.
