| System Overview AVENAR detector 4000 The DO detectors have a dual optical sensor that uses the different infrared and blue light wavelengths (Dual Ray technology). This allows fires to be detected early and even the smallest quantities of smoke (TF1, TF9) to be reliably detected.
Accessories 2.6.1 Detector bases Detectors in the AVENAR detector 4000 series are operated in one of the following detector bases. The detector bases are suitable for surface mounting or for flush mounting. There are separate fixing points for ceiling-mount boxes and for flush-mount boxes. They also fit all common bore patterns.
The bases have screw terminals for connection of the detector and its accessories to the fire panel. Contacts connected with the terminals guarantee a secure electrical connection when installing the AVENAR detector 4000 Heat detector. Cable diameters of up to 2.5 mm can be used.
