D. Paging Format Configuration
This selection allows you to assign the paging format(s) to be used and to define each
format's parameters (see Figure D-58). Each paging format must be assigned a unique
leading digit (0-9, A, B, C, D). This allows the user to select which type of page to transmit
by preceding each page with its assigned leading digit if two or more paging formats have
been programmed. If only one paging format has been programmed (i.e., only one leading
digit has been assigned), the page is keyed in directly and no leading digit is necessary (or
allowed) since the Model 4010 already knows what type of page it will be. Note that when
programming Instant Call Key paging stack(s), a leading digit is always required.
