TIP
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque in two steps and in
order from "1" to "4".

INSTALLING THE CYLINDER HEAD COVER

TIP
Engage projection "a" of cylinder head cover "2" with
groove "b" of cylinder air shroud "1", and install them.
Install:
• Cylinder head
• Cylinder head bolts "1" to "4".
Cylinder head bolt:
1st: 6 N·m (0.6 kgf·m, 4.4 lb·ft)
2nd: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf·m, 8.1 lb·ft)
Install:
• Gasket
New
• Cylinder air shroud "1"
• Cylinder head cover "2"
Cylinder head cover bolt:
11 N·m (1.1 kgf·m, 8.1 lb·ft)
