4.1.4 Direction of rotation of the bowl

The bowl must rotate in clockwise direction when looked at from above.

Provided that:
– The drive chamber is filled with oil
up to the half way mark on the sight
glass.
• Switch on motor.
The direction of rotation of the bowl is
correct when the drive belt rotates
clockwise (check through the sight
glass in the frame).
When the direction of rotation is incor-
rect the motor connections must be
reversed by an authorised specialist.
In case of frequency converter
operation:
• Before working on the motor,
note that residual voltage may be
present!
• In this connection:
– Read the documentation supplied
by the frequency converter manu-
facturer.
– Have protective measures imple-
mented by suitably qualified per-
sonnel.
