The illustrations show a BEA 250/350 by way of
example. The procedure is identical for BEA 050 and
BEA 450.
2.2.1

Assembling the AMM

1. Unpack the AMM.
2. Disconnect the BEA from the mains.
3. Detach the housing cover (1) and disconnect the
ground conductor from the housing.
4. Disconnect the connecting cables of the AMM
(Siemens) from the mainboard.
5. Remove the AMM (Siemens).

For BEA with production dates before FD 2004-07, it
may be necessary to drill a recess for the protruding
screw for the pump bracket.

Take care not to crush or trap any connecting cables
on inserting the AMM.
6. Slide the AMM (Andros) into the module and attach
to the back wall with self-tapping screws.

7. Use self-tapping screws to attach the AMM to the
base plate of the BEA.
8. Attach the connecting cables of the AMM to the
mainboard.

9. Connect the ground conductor to the housing cover
and fit the housing cover.

BEA identification

Retrofitting does not necessitate any separate identifi-
cation on the product. The AMM (Andros) is provided
with its own rating plate with the SNR 1 687 023 419.
