Drive

All Rider AWD are equipped with hydrostatic
transmission, giving the driver full control.
Speed is controlled variably using the pedals
forward or back.
AWD machines are equipped with permanent
four-wheel-drive, so no differential lock is
required.
The hydraulic pump that provides oil to the
front and rear axles is built into the rear axle.
The pump is operated with cables from the
drive pedals.
The hydraulic oil filter is located in the back
section of the rear axle.
The hydraulic tank is separate and is located
above the rear axle.
Front axle on Rider AWD from above.
The axle comprises a hydraulic motor,
differential and drive shaft.
To move the machine without the front axle
drive engaged there is a mechanical bypass
valve that is operated with a control inside the
left wheel.
The bypass valve must be closed when
driving or the front axle will be drained of oil.
Rear axle on Rider AWD from above.
To move the machine without the rear axle
drive engaged there is a hydraulic bypass
valve that is operated with a control behind
the left wheel.
