VIP2 and the 2CT1 Port Adapter

in Cisco 7000 series and Cisco 7500 series routers:

The 2CT1 port adapter is used on the VIP2 and can be installed in port adapter slot 0 or port adapter
slot 1. Figure 7 shows the 2CT1 port adapter installed on a VIP2-15 or VIP2-50 in port adapter
slot 1.
