Compatible with the following models:
Audi RNS-E Navigation (Navigation Plus)
AUDI A3, A4 ,A6 (2004-2005), AUDI TT, AUDI R8, AUDI A8 (2001-2002)
Lamborghini Gallardo
Connect the adapter:
1. Remove the radio (you will find various instructions on the Internet).
2. Before disconnecting the plugs from the radio, make sure that the radio code is available to
you, as you will need it for the radio after the power interruption.
3. Plug the grey AMP extender of the WM-BTMIC43 into the provided connector behind the
radio.
4. Now connect the black ground cable to the radio housing or the black cable directly to a
ground cable to the radio connection (usually a thick brown cable). Without a good ground
connection the function of the adapter is not given.
5. Now connect the red cable (ignition plus +12V) to a switched +12V line. Since this line is
usually no longer present behind the radio, you can tap the voltage from the cigarette
lighter, fuse box (terminal 15) or the air conditioner (measurement with multimeter
necessary). Ignition on = +12V on / ignition off = 0V on.
6. Position the microphone near the driver in the vehicle (steering wheel fairing, dashboard,
etc.). Lay the cable and connect the jack plug to the jack socket (MIC) on the WM-
BTMIC43. Now connect the jack plug of the AUX adapter, which is already installed, to the
SPK jack connector (see point 3). Avoid placing the microphone in the immediate
vicinity of or on airbags.
7. Establish a Bluetooth connection by enabling Bluetooth pairing and searching for the
Bluetooth device ``WM´´ . You should then set the volume on the connected device to full
volume.
8. Before you reinstall the radio, test the function of the adapter. Turn on the AUX function on
the radio.
