    Step 3: Connecting the Power Cord Plug the player and TV power cord (mains lead) into an AC outlet (mains). Do not connect the AC power cord (mains lead) of your player to the “switched” power source of an amplifier (receiver). When you turn off the power of your amplifier (receiver), the menu setting for the player such as Playback Memory may be lost.
