Installing and removing drives
The casing can accommodate a total of two drives:
•
one accessible slim drive (one 5 1/4 inch drive)
•
one 3 ½-inch hard disk
"Accessible drives" are e.g. DVD or CD ROM drives, into which a data medium can be
inserted from the outside. Non-accessible drives are e.g. hard disk drives.

Removing the plastic drive cover
Do not throw away the covers. If you remove the drive again later, you will need to fit the
covers again (cooling, fire protection or EMC regulations which need to be complied with).
If you wish to install an accessible drive in an empty bay, you must first remove the plastic drive cover.

► Gently press the latches of the relevant
plastic drive covers forwards and, working
from the outside, pull the plastic drive
covers out of the front cover.
