Troubleshooting without display

Problem
Required room temperature
not achieved.
Heating lasts too long.
Required room temperature
greatly exceeded.
Excessive room temperature
fluctuations.
Temperature rises instead of
falling.
Room temperature too high
during "Economy" and/or
"Frost" mode.
Incorrect or nocontrol.
Controller can only be set to
automatic mode.
DHW cylinder does not heat
up.

Cause
Thermostatic valve(s) set too low.
Heating curve set too low.
Flow temperature controller on heating
appliance set too low.
Air lock in heating system.
"Heating up speed" set too low.
Radiators become too hot.
Installation location of FW 100
unfavourable, e.g. external wall, close to
window, in a draught, ...
Temporary influence of external heat on
the room, e.g. through solar radiation,
lighting, TV, fireplace etc.
Time incorrectly set.
Building retains a lot of heat.
BUS connection of BUS subscribers
faulty.
Operating mode selector faulty.
DHW temperature controller on heating
appliance set too low.
Flow temperature controller on heating
appliance set too low.
Remedy
Set thermostatic valve(s) higher.
Set "Heating levels" for "Comfort" higher
or arrange for your contractor to correct
the heating curve.
Set flow temperature controller higher.
Reduce influence of solar optimisation if
necessary.
Bleed radiators and vent heating system.
Set "Heating up speed", for example, to
"Fast".
Set thermostatic valve(s) lower.
Set "Heating levels" for "Comfort" lower
or arrange for your contractor to correct
the heating curve.
Select a better installation location for
FW 100 and ask your heating contractor
to reposition it.
Arrange for your contractor to increase
"Room influence".
Select a better installation location for
FW 100 and ask your heating contractor
to reposition it.
Check time setting.
Set an earlier switching time for
"Economy" and/or "Frost".
Ask your heating contractor to check the
BUS connection against the wiring
diagram and correct it if required.
Have FW 100 replaced by your contractor.
Set DHW temperature controller higher.
Reduce influence of solar optimisation if
necessary.
Turn flow temperature controller on
heating appliance fully clockwise.
