  • Page 3 Installing the Headset Adapter Prior to connecting the EHS cable, disconnect/power off the DT700/DT300 Connect the EHS cable to the mic and indicator. Mic : Used to detect ring tone from DT700/300. If detected, the headset duplicates the ringtone sound. Indicator : Displays the status of talking with headset.
  • Page 4 Paste the mic to the DT300/DT700 speaker Connect the EHS cable to the Base Unit Finally, reconnect the DT700/300 to the SV8100 and power on the Base Unit.

To allow the Plantronics interface control over the headset function, it is necessary to program a headset function key (05) on the first key of the 8LK interface using programming command 15-07.

    Using the Headset Your extension is automatically in the Headset Mode when your headset is removed from its base. There is no need to have a Headset Feature Key or dial Service Code 798 to turn the Headset Mode on and off.
