    The loading bay, hallways, doors, elevators, and stairs must be large enough to allow the delivered equipment (USP VM components) to be moved to the installation location. Please contact your Hitachi Data Systems team for details on the shipping crate dimensions. Weight The floors, elevators, stairs, and ramps must be able to support the weight of the delivered equipment as it is moved to the installation location.

    Rail Kits Hitachi’s Universal Rail Kits must be used for installation in a customer- supplied rack. These rail kits have been qualified to meet the size and strength requirements for the USP VM. Each kit contains two individual rails and the required fastening hardware.
