These jacksprovidevariableaudiooutputtoa separatestereosystemamplifier.Withthisconnection, t he audio to

thestereo canbe controlledbythe television's remotecontrol. Use thesejacksfor theSURROUND Leftand Right

channels. (See page 13 and 16.)

TIPS ON REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS

The S-Video connectionis providedfor high performancelaser discs,VCR's, etc., that have this feature. Use this

connectionin place of the standardvideoconnectionif yourdevice hasthis feature.

If your devicehas onlyone audio output(monosound),connectit to the leftaudiojack on the IV.

Refer to the operatingguide of your otherelectronicequipmentfor additionalinformation on connecting your hook-up

cables.

A singleVCR can be used for VCR #1 and VCR #2, but note that a VCR cannot record itsown videoor lineoutput

(INPUT: 1 in the example on p. 15). Refer to your VCR operating guide for more informationon "line"input-output

connections.
