    PD5208 O/M.QXD 8/22/01 4:31 PM Unpacking and Setup • Carefully remove the unit from the display carton and remove all packing material from the unit itself. • Remove any descriptive labels that may be found on either the front or top cabinet of the unit. Do not remove any labels located on either the back or bottom cabinet of the unit.

    PD5208 O/M.QXD 8/22/01 4:31 PM PREPARATION FOR USE (CONTINUED) Battery Operation The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the cabinet. • Remove the battery compartment door by sliding the battery compartment open. • Insert 8 ‘C’ size (UM-2) batteries into the battery compartment as shown in the figure below. Be sure to observe the polarity markings which are engraved inside the battery compartment.
