User's Guide Update

Please note the following changes to your projector's operation and the information in the

PowerLite 1705c/1715c User's Guide.

New Version of Projector Software

Your projector now comes with version 2.30 of the EMP NS Connection software, which lets you

project through a wireless network and display from a digital camera or external drive. It works

virtually the same as version 2.0 (described in your User's Guide), but some of the screens may look

slightly different. Also, note that when you are using EasyMP to display images or movies,

sometimes you'll need to press

(and select an option)

to open a folder, view an image/movie, or start a slideshow—depending on whether you are in

Guide Mode or Quick Mode.

Be sure to install the new Version 2.30 of EMP NS Connection from the projector software

CD-ROM that came with your projector. If you are using an older version, you must uninstall it

first and then install version 2.30. The steps for installing the software in Windows

®

are slightly

different than described on page 172 of your User's Guide. Follow the instructions below instead.

1. Insert the Projector Software CD-ROM in your computer's CD-ROM or DVD drive.
