Record an outgoing announcement (OGA)

You can record your own outgoing announcement using the telephone base or

handset.

To record your OGA at the telephone base:

1. Position yourself about 1 foot away from the microphone on

the telephone base, then press and hold annc.

2. Release the button after the beep. Speak clearly towards

the microphone to record your outgoing announcement (2

minutes maximum).

3. Press annc. when finished.

To record your OGA using a handset

1. Press menu.

2. Press ok to select ANS. SYSTEM.

3. Press

/

ok.

4. Press

/

5. After a beep sounds, speak into the handset as you

would normally during a call while recording your OGA (2

minutes maximum).

6. Press ok when finished.

If you want to use the pre-recorded outgoing announcement, simply delete

your recorded OGA.

1. Press menu.

2. Press ok to select ANS. SYSTEM.

3. Press

ok.

4. Press

/

5. The handset plays back the pre-recorded outgoing

announcement.
