feature
causes
your
Printer's output to
resemble

teleprinters.

the ALL CAPS switch
in the Or=F oosition, the keyboard will
cause
printing like a standard typewriter.
TALKING TO ANOTHER PRINTER
Calling another printer is similar to calling
a
time
sharing
comouter,
however,
the
following points should be noted.
1.
Check
the
positions
of
the
TRANSPARENCY
and INHIBIT switches on
your Printer. They should be as S:lown
below.
(If
your
Printer
is
not
equiDped
with
either
of
these
switches, ignore the instructions for
it).
a. TRANSPARENCY switch must
be
in
the
OFF
position.
b.
INHIBIT switch must
be
in
the
NORM
position.
2. Before calling another printer,
your
Printer
must
be
runnin9
in
the
ON
LINE
:llode.

interfacing
equipment
may
be
used oetween your
Printer and the remote printer.
This
